As Tandem enters its mid-teen years, our 15th year in business provides much to celebrate. Like any teenager, we continue to explore who we are to the world and define our meaning.. We have emerged as a leading environmental film and photography studio that shapes brands and defines our shared story of life on Earth. We’ve added new talent and leadership to our team in 2025, more than we have in any other year in our history. We continue to believe a company is not valued by its assets, but believe it is valued almost exclusively by its people, for whom we are so thankful. We are also thankful to our overseas teams, who bring to life the myriad of development and post-production work taking place in London and the UK.

Highlights of 2025 include a visit to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution’s Deep Tech Lab, launching our first 360° dome feature at the United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice, France, for @nature_org and our crowning achievement - releasing our new film Wild Rescue in IMAX 3D in theatres worldwide. We are thrilled TV legend Marc Summers, who is a longtime producing partner, joined us as narrator on Wild Rescue.

We also carved through the humidity and endless mosquitoes to begin production on our next giant-screen film with @missionpartnersent , the untitled Wetlands IMAX 3D project slated for release in 2027.

Lastly, we also celebrate the re-release of Hidden Pacific, now titled Ocean Paradise, narrated by Diane Lane with music from Coldplay and Jack Johnson. It’ll never get old to walk through the airport and see posters for a film created seven years ago but still doing its job being extraordinarily relevant today.

The best is yet to come.

We are proud to see our 360° dome film presented at this year’s UN Ocean Conference in Nice, France — an immersive walk-in experience that takes viewers into the heart of Palau’s coral reefs while sharing local ocean conservation stories.⁠
We shot this project on location in Palau using several 360° underwater rigs. It came together on an super tight timeline, thanks to an amazing crew and our local partners — and is narrated by ocean conservation icon Dr. Sylvia Earle.⁠

A neighbor invited us to capture a glimpse of something he loves — riding through the hills where he lives.⁠
